March 6, 1965 – January 6, 2026
We celebrate the life and memory of Rob Klotzbach, who passed away on January 6, 2026 at the age of 60. Rob was an extraordinary husband and father with the ability to make everyone around him laugh. He will be forever cherished and remembered through the moments and memories shared by all who knew him
One of Rob’s greatest passions was his swimming team, where he was affectionately known as Coach Rob. Through his dedication, encouragement, and unwavering belief in his swimmers, he impacted countless lives.
Rob was known for his quick wit and perfectly timed sarcasm, always ready with a clever remark. He loved the color purple and had a signature style that typically included outfits that never quite matched. He took great joy in impressing others with his skills in the kitchen, particularly his swimmers, who he loved cooking for.
We will miss Rob forever, but he will always be with us in our hearts, remembered for his love, his laughter, and all the unforgettable moments we shared with him.
A Celebration of Rob's life will be held on Thursday, January 29th from 5p-7p at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home - Port Orange, 4815 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange FL 32129, with service at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue. The link to donate can be found on their website at https://www.floridacockerrescue.org/
